Privacy Policy

Al-Qaid Aman collects no data about you.

What you type into the app — player names, scores, settings — is stored on your phone and nowhere else. It is never sent to Doqmah or to any other company. There is no account, no sign-in and no tracking.

Who publishes the app

Al-Qaid Aman (القيد أمان) is published by Doqmah (دقمه), a Saudi studio that designs and builds apps, websites and games. This policy covers this app only.

What we collect about you

Nothing. The app has no account and no sign-in. It never asks for your name, email or phone number. It contains no analytics, measurement or tracking tool of any kind, and it does not connect to any Doqmah server. The app works fully offline.

Because we collect nothing, we sell nothing and share nothing with third parties — there is nothing on our side to share.

What is stored on your phone

So that you find your game as you left it, the app saves the following in its own storage on the device:

Player and team names: Whatever you type yourself on the setup screen

Scores and past games: The points of each round, and finished games in the archive

Settings: Mute, win sound, announcer voice and speed, chosen theme

Purchased themes: A list of unlocked theme identifiers, with no payment data

This data never leaves your device. We cannot see it, reach it, or restore it for you. Deleting the app from your phone deletes all of it for good.

Note that the player names you type may be real people's names, so choose what suits you. And if your phone is backed up (iCloud or Google Drive), the app's data may be included in that backup according to your settings with Apple or Google — that is outside the app.

Permissions the app asks for

None at all. No camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos, files or notifications. If you are ever shown a permission prompt in this app's name, refuse it and tell us.

Spoken scores

The app can read each round's score aloud. This uses the text-to-speech engine built into your phone's operating system (Apple on iPhone, Google on Android). We do not use any speech service of our own.

The text handed to the system is team names and points only, such as "Us 10, Them 6".

Some system voices run entirely on the device; others — the enhanced ones in particular — process the text on Apple's or Google's servers. That processing is governed by the operating system's privacy policy, not ours; we neither see it nor receive anything from it. If you would rather nothing be handed to the system at all, turn off "speak each round's score" in the app's settings, or use the mute button.

In-app purchases

The app's base theme is free; the other themes are each bought separately. The purchase happens entirely inside the App Store or Google Play, not with us.

So we never see your card number, your name, or any payment data. The only thing the app receives from the store is the answer to one question: has this theme been bought or not. That answer is kept on your device alone.

Your receipts and payment records are held by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and any refund request goes to them, not to us.

Advertising

This version of the app contains no advertising, no advertising SDK, and it does not use your device's advertising identifier.

If we add advertising in a future version, that is a material change: we will publish an updated policy on this page with a new effective date, and update the privacy disclosures in both stores, before that version ships.

What the stores report to Doqmah

The App Store and Google Play give every publisher reports about their app: download counts, and crash counts with technical details about the device and OS version. These are aggregated, anonymous reports produced by the store rather than by the app; they cannot tell us who you are, and they never contain your scores.

Children

The app collects no data from any user, so it collects no data from children. It contains no objectionable content, no gambling and no real-money play — it is a calculator for a card game played among friends.

Your rights

Saudi Arabia's Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL) gives you rights over your personal data, including access, correction and erasure. Because we collect no personal data about you and hold nothing belonging to you, we have nothing for you to access or erase.

Your data is in your own hands: deleting a game inside the app erases it, and deleting the app erases everything. If you have a question or a complaint, write to help@doqmah.com and we will answer.

Keeping your scores safe

As long as the data never leaves the device there is no network transfer to intercept, and no database of ours to breach. What protects your scores is what protects your phone: its passcode, fingerprint or face unlock.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects your privacy, we publish an updated version on this same page with a new effective date. The version published here is always the one in force, so check it when you update the app.
